  • 1918: Norwegian Bøtte (Bucket) Factory started production in Trondheim, Norway
  • 1938: World’s First Electric panel heater presented
  • 1948: World’s First Heater with built-in thermostat produced
  • 1971: New factory in Stjørdal, Norway opened
  • 1976: World’s First Heater with timer for reducing heat at night
  • 1982: World’s First control system based on nett signals for use in buildings
  • 1996: World’s First Glass Heater developed
  • 2002: Nobø becomes a part of the Glen Dimplex Group
  • 2006: Introduction of the ORION 700 energy control system
  • 2008: Introduction of new and improved Safir Glass Heater
  • 2012: Introduction of Frost Glass
  • 2014: New Nobø Energy Control system with App interface
  • 2015: New generation Nobø Top heaters to be launched in specific markets
  • 2016: All new generation Nobø heaters available in all markets
